These aren’t technically stuffed animals; they’re felt sculptures, which in my experience generally allow for a higher level of detail but are not anywhere as resilient as a stuffed animal. In needle felting there’s no sewing involved, just a lot of stabbing bunches of wool into shape, which I like because it’s more freeform and modifiable as you go.
I can give you tons of needle felting resources if you wanna learn to do it, or I can point you towards one or more friends of mine who sew plushies (like Weird Bug Lady, or Deadly Sweet, or really any of the amazing people in the Plush Team) who know way way more about sewing a cool animal than I do.
